Julia B Lubner and Jan Stawiarski are an artist duo based in Hackney, London. Their practice spans object-making and sculptural design, combining craft-intensive processes such as fine woodworking and beading.

Rooted in their individual work as sculptors, their shared design practice explores temporality, material memory, and the relationship between the mystical and the technological, often incorporating hidden mechanisms and concealed processes that reward close attention. Working together since 2024, they have exhibited across London and internationally. At Alcova, they present a lamp from their 2025 series Night Lights, which explores the enchanting qualities of light and the dreamlike nature of darkness.
